WRG wins “Best UK Event of the Year” at IVCA Awards

WRG wins the gold award for the "Best UK Event of the Year" for producing "the State Visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the UK" on behalf of its clients The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and The Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales at this year's prestigious IVCA Awards 2011.

Now in their 23rd year, the IVCA Awards are the world's largest annual corporate communications awards and are recognised internationally as the highest accolades which can be awarded for creativity, originality, effectiveness and production expertise in visual communication. Our entry faced strong competition in the Best UK Event category and we were delighted that the vision, talent and innovation of the team who worked on the campaign was recognised with such an exalted award.

Marco Forgione, IVCA Chief Executive commented "Once again I was astounded by the diversity and creativity of this year's entries and delighted that the IVCA Awards are able to recognise and reward such exceptional talent. To be shortlisted as a finalist is excellent but to win is a tremendous achievement. In awarding WRG the Gold award for the Best UK Event, the judges were impressed by the high calibre of skills, originality and expertise displayed. Huge congratulations to WRG for their innovative and much deserved award-winning entry that is an inspiration to all of us in the visual communications industry."
